      <image:title>About Us - Hi, I’m Lindsey!</image:title>
<image:caption>I am one of the head therapists here at Becoming Brave! I am an adoptee who lives in Nashville, Tennessee. I have spent much of my career in central Florida and Nashville, Tennessee and have a passion for helping individuals and families thrive. I have proudly made East Nashville our home where I reside with my husband, five children and my service dog, Gnocchi. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Lipscomb University and Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee. I am a clinical licensed master social worker (LCSW) with the State of Florida and the State of Tennessee. There are no words to adequately describe the privilege of witnessing the transformation children and families experience as they overcome some of life's most difficult obstacles. It has been my privilege to work alongside hundreds of adoptive families, adoptees, birth-parents, individuals and families throughout my professional career. I look forward to helping you and your family begin their transformation!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Survivor Support</image:title>
<image:caption>“Trauma creates change you don’t choose. Healing is about creating the change you do choose.” -Michelle Rosenthall We have practiced with survivors of cancer, burn, medical trauma, human trafficking, and domestic abuse. Interventions focus on addressing common emotional responses to these challenges, including grief and loss, struggles with identity, anger, anxiety, depression, and others. In working with any survivor, we work with the individual to find ways to reclaim what has been lost and reframe traumatic events. Becoming Brave also works with individuals to process and find strategies to cope with the life-long impact that can result from such traumas. This may involve addressing impacts such as altered relationships, negative body image, infertility, or general quality of life.</image:caption>
